Hinton Strategic Partners Visits Venezuela’s Llanos During a tour of the central plains of Guárico State, HSP Founder Sabin Hinton and the firm’s representatives in Venezuela, Andrés Cedeño, Carlyana Arriechi, and Ahmed AJ, visited corn and sorghum fields in Valle de la Pascua, observing the season’s harvest and local cattle operations firsthand. Venezuela’s agricultural production benefits from a wide range of geographic and climatic conditions that support crop cultivation in its plains. In the area visited, corn and sorghum predominate—key crops for the country’s food supply and agricultural industry. Local producers highlighted the enormous potential of the region’s arable land, while noting the ups and downs that agriculture has faced as a result of socioeconomic conditions and constraints in technical infrastructure. They shared with Hinton Strategic Partners the resources they need to cultivate their land, ranging from financing to inputs and equipment. These resources would help position agriculture as a fundamental strategic pillar of the country’s food sovereignty. Hinton Strategic Partners connects U.S. investors with agricultural projects in Venezuela, supporting farmers as they work to increase output and strengthen food production.
